WTG! Even attempting a marathon is awesome! Is this your first?

sisoon posted 10/11/2013 14:02 PM

What? They allow cars in the marathon? Oh, wait ...

Best of luck, Tesla

Oh wow, thank you so much! I really needed this today!
The marathon is Sunday...I'm running to qualify for Boston...it's going to be close. Any positive vibes you can send my way Sunday morning will be much appreciated.

It was a bittersweet day. Started great, felt great...on pace for 3:30. Then at mile 15 my calves started cramping. Slowed down hoping they would work themselves out, just got worse! Ugh!! Stopped to stretch at 20 and almost couldn't get going again. Finished at 3:59. So, still sub four but it was hard to get through.

CharlieFoxtrot posted 10/13/2013 17:09 PM

Great job, tesla! Under four after stopping to stretch... Wow

Lyonesse posted 10/13/2013 17:19 PM

No small achievement to finish! Is 3:30 the qualifying time for Boston?
