My 23rd anniversary was Sunday. The weekend was filled with a huge music festival and my overall mood going into the anniversary was good.
At 11:45pm on Saturday the skies opened up and a terenchal rainfall started. It didn't stop raining until the next morning. In that 7 hours we received over 12 inches of rain.
I truly felt like the sky was crying for what used to be my M. R is going good but to be quite honest my A date means nothing to me now, it's a consequence of her Affair. I will never have a silver or golden A and it just really made me sad.
I will say that the rain is a wonderful site. It is so cleansing in so many ways and we so desperatley need it. As the last drops dwindled I smiled a huge smile, the rainbows were beautiful, skittles delicious and the Unicorn toots did not stink.... Life is still pretty good.
If there is reincarnation I hope OM comes back as a low water flush truck stop toilet!

That is a lot of rain! Glad the weekend still turned out good. I like the analogy about rain being cleansing in so many ways.
Thanks for sharing this.
