I am going to my friend's restaurant and having either the steak with mushroom and onion sauce Or her chef husband's famous rotisserie chicken. It is sooooo delicious, either way. And I will dip it in their homemade piri-piri sauce (they're Portuguese-born). This is making me hungry!

You and everyone else! Both sound delicious. For us, well it is still in the works. I may add a few extra things to the shopping list.

What's piri piri sauce?

I'm at the Comfort Inn tonight, flight in the a.m.

So, whatever looks good in their fast food restaurant (as there is no other restaurant within walking distance). Might be a hamburger.

Blueberry whole grain waffles with real maple syrup. Courtesy of Eggos. No time for cooking tonight.

eta: The maple syrup makes me forget they are Eggos. I could probably eat cardboard if I put maple syrup on it. Fortunately, the budget isn't THAT tight.

The hamburger was a big disappointment :(

Dry pre-formed patty. I could have chosen a pizza slice, don't know if that is any better.

Breakfast is included tomorrow morning. Been here before, it's "meh".

Ham gravy? Dude! I've never heard of that before. I am so going to make that for the next upcoming Easter. I may have to cook a ham before then, just to make ham gravy. Sounds delicious!
