That is all.

Or...

You get up and fall over an open drawer at the bottom of your bed.

Geez, you mean you didn't hear it during the night? Mine always wake me up with that lovely hurk-hurk-hurk sound; then I have to turn the light on so I can see where the puddles are. Um, you DID find out BEFORE you put your shoe on, right?

Be careful what you wish for the most - you may get it.

you find your cat has yakked in your shoe...

That's bad...but its even worse when you get out of bed and your bare foot finds a pile of animal sick.

*shudders in disgust*

With 5 animals, this has happened to me a few times. I'm now VERY careful to look where I put my feet when I get out of bed.

ww, yes I *did* find out before putting on my shoes. And I heard that lovely hurk-hurk-hurk sound beforehand. Unfortunately, this was around 4:15, 4:20 in the morning so I wasn't exactly *awake*. I looked around to see where it landed but saw nothing on the floor. Saw nothing so I figured he didn't complete the process - until I was ready to put my shoes on.

And jo, I'll take that tropical island do-over.
