The stress has been unbearable lately. I can't say that R has been going smoothly and we've been fighting/arguing a lot in the past few weeks.

I found out that my younger cousin who has a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy has been hospitalized since a week ago Tuesday with pneumonia. It's always a life threatening situation because she just doesn't have the strength to get stuff out of her lungs. I found out last night that her fight is coming to an end and it's a matter of a day or two. I've been put in the role of messenger because my mom is out of the country so I'm responsible for delivering the news and I'm supposed to be leaving on a trip on Friday.

Fighting the tears at work because I don't have the vacation time to take off and there's really nothing that I can do anyway. I just feel sad.

I am so sorry. Of course you are feeling overwhelmed! This IS overwhelming!

I'm sure you feel like you've reached your max in terms of how much you can take.

Wish we all had magic wands. This is just so very tough. Please take care of yourself. Anything you can think of that de-stresses you? Whatever that thing is, please do it!

I am so very sorry about your cousin. A heartbreaking situation. Is there anyone who can help you?

Wishing you strength. It's going to be a very tough time ahead. Sending prayers your way...

So sorry for what you are going through.

I found the following book very helpful to me in dealing with my stress and anxiety:
The 14 Day Stress Cure: A New Approach for Dealing With Stress That Can Change Your Life by Morton C. Orman

I have family in town, right now only my Grandma really. My mom is out of the country, brother in montana, my cousin has two brothers, one in denver and one a trouble, sort of recovered alcoholic.

I really wish that I wasn't the messenger to everyone I don't quite have the words

That's never a good place to be without everything else going on. That sucks. Good luck, take care of yourself.

Thanks for your responses. I just have to make it through today and I'll have some time away from work where I don't have to be productive. I need a reboot.
