I'm on vacation. I'm seeing friends and family that have been nothing short of fantastic through my ordeal. Last night I got a series of text messages regarding the football game that was on. I don't know if STBX was drunk, lonely or what. I ignored them. In fact my friend took away my phone. This morning I sent her an email about open enrollment at her job and her progress in her attempt to refinance the house. Keeping it all business. She is on the fence about keeping me on her policy. I told her just until the divorce, then she can drop me. It's the first time I've used the "D" word in contact with her. It's always been "when the time comes" or referred to as "the pending legal proceedings". Felt good. Hope it shook her. I hope she leaves me alone the rest of the week. I was perfectly at peace floating on my noodle until she contacted.

I was a long time before using that word too. Felt great. I don't know if she gave a shit.

Enjoy your noodle!

Divorced the cheater and living my best life now.

The best thing about hitting rock bottom is that everything after that looks fucking fabulous.
