My FWH finally got a call from his doctor today. While his biopsy results are not normal (prostrate biopsy), he has abnormal cells and at least today, not cancer. He goes back in 8 weeks to have a more pin-point biopsy to check. There is a 50% chance that the cells will be cancerous, at some point, so obviously we will be checking often, but at least right now, it's not cancer.

Plus, he starts his new job next Monday. Thank God. Things are looking up for us! Thank you for all of your mojo and good wishes!

Guess I know what he's getting for Christmas!

Imagine a ship trying to set sail while towing an anchor. Cutting free is not a gift to the anchor. You must release that burden, not because the anchor is worthy, but because the ship is.

Thank goodness. Prostate Cancer while scary for all, often times is a slowly progressing disease. It has often been described as something you die with, not from. May this also be true in your case.

It certainly is for my dad and step FIL.
