I sincerely hope this is the last time.

I have a secret and it's killing me!! A couple of months ago, Waywardson had a dream that he told his area supervisor he was unhappy and walked out of work. There was some imagery of silhouette wild horses spinning around him as he awoke. He told me about the dream and my immediate response was, "Oh, NO!! We can't have THAT!", because he spends a LOT of time at work and, if he's unhappy there, it's going to spill over into other aspects of life.

He went downstairs and I immediately got online "just to see" what was out there. The very first thing I saw sent me running downstairs, very excited. See, eight years ago, this really cool company hired him as a chef, but the other chef was to go home to another country and that didn't happen, so they weren't going to be able to pay H at that level and we weren't going to be able to make it on what he would make as a line cook. So, we were heartbroken and didn't know why things were so tough for us. We just moved back to our home area six months ago. The first thing I saw was that this company was expanding to our area and they were looking for managers. Handy, since being a chef is really hard work, physically, and H switched to management about six years ago.

So, he's been in touch with them over the last couple of months and finally has his interview this Thurs. This is the company he hopes to have as the last entry on his resume- EVER. They are an awesome company, very community involved, into fresh/locovore movement, their values and their culture are a perfect match for us. They are growing and have already expressed that there are no limits for a guy like him.

If you have any spare mojo, it sure would be appreciated!!

I'm terrified to even go on FB much because I'm afraid I'll say something that will tip off someone in his current company! I'm pretty much a hermit, so it has been pretty lonely to be me, lately, and I'm hoping that ends soon, too!

The interview lasted about an hour and he interviewed with the CEO and with the General Manager. They said they'll be making calls with offers in the next ten days and he said, "TEN DAYS???!!", We've been waiting for this to happen, and I guess we'll continue to wait. Keep us in your thoughts.

We're expecting that they'll know tomorrow, but aren't sure when they'll let US know!

In an interesting turn of events, my dad seems to be good friends with the former owners, who are going to put in a good word!

***fingers crossed***
