My husband and I are in counseling for his past multiple infidelities. Definitley thought I would be one to leave if I ever found this out. But we have been in counseling and not sure if counseling has been that good. For those of you who have had good counseling with your spouse what were some things ya'll did that seemed to help both of you.

'Bump' puts the thread at the top of the list so your thread is more likely to get a response. The Staff seems quicker on the trigger today than usual, but I could be wrong.

What's worked in C for me is having some simple goals. The goals are really a matter of 'What do I want to change about myself?'

I recommend writing a list of things you to change about your life and use that as a start for interviewing some candidate Cs. A good candidate ...

has some understanding of your list
says s/he can help you achieve your goals
has some experience in dealing with infidelity and/or trauma
sounds like s/he'd be good to work with

You can't predict your fit with a C - it's more art than science in most ways, but a short phone interview (10-15 minutes) should be enough to give you a 'go/nogo' vibe.

I share my own experience because it's the only experience I know, not because I'm a good model.
