I hope this is the right forum. I have been offered a mental health job which is great pay and benefits from my mental health tutor who is head of department at the hospital (exciting!)

My job: I literally stare at them and write progress notes (i.e had an auditory hallucination at___) and stop them from stabbing themselves with a pen (for example)

My initial feeling was excitement but now I'm feeling a little unsure. I took the year off from work (lucky me) so getting back into it seems nerve racking and exciting. However it is a huge difference from being a manager at a call center

Doesn't matter what the job is I know I would be really apprehensive. But do you think this is an environment I should be exposing myself too?

OW1 inadvertently let me know WH loves English breakfast tea. Never ever saw him drink it. And I never will.

It's hard to say, but I'm confident that no matter what you choose to do, you'll make the right decision

My tolerance for stupid shit is getting less and less.

I'm not sure. Maybe give it some time to see how you feel.
