Tomorrow is my first triathlon. It is a very short race, but I wanted to just get one out of way instead of thinking about one for months. I have only been swimming for a few months so that part scares me a bit. Once that is out of the way I can relax, as per my user name the bike part will be a piece of cake, and running is OK.
But sadly the A is never far from my mind. Right before D day in January, OM and I had discussed doing tri's together and I spend 1/2 day helping him pick out a bike. Did not see him name on the start list, so unless he is a day of registration I should be free to "enjoy" the physical suffering all by myself.

Good Luck, be proud for doing it. The swimming is quite honestly the only part of one that I could do well at.
Congrats.

Awesome!! So excited for you to do this empowering event! I was scheduled for my first sprint tri just weeks after D day and I was crushed when it was cancelled due to weather. Hoping 2014 is my year. Go bikingguy!!
