I would like to go to a Diwali celebration this year.
I know nothing about this holiday & would like to both learn & from what little I have read, it sounds like a neat celebration :-)
Any tips on where u can find a celebration? It looks like they were all this weekend??

You can google Diwali celebrations and you'll probably hit on some information about Diwali celebrations being sponsored by local Indian-American groups or Hindu temples. This is provided that you live in an area with a large Indian immigrant population.
It's a very joyous, colorful, and lively festivity. After all, it is the Festival of Lights!

Wear a new item of clothing even if its something small like just socks. Light a lot of candles.
