The sad clown has finally pulled his finger out. Hallelujah!

A long-winded text from the fool. Blah Blah Blah.. Divorce.

FINALLY!

Let him do the running around given how good he is at 'running around'. Let him pay the $800 filing fee.

Let him goad me all he likes. I did take the bait, a bit (I know, I know - kinda like being 'a bit pregnant') but I wasn't mad - it was funny as hell.

Still awesome news.

Divorce here is final one month and one day after the hearing. Everything else is already settled so this is just like cutting the last bees dick of ribbon.

I'd love to send off 2013 legally unencumbered of that sad, sad clown.

Let the party-planning begin! My girlfriends have been inundating me with H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S divorce cakes. I didn't even know they existed.

ETA: one of my GFs have suggested there may be some of this kind of dancing involved.

Good for you, SBB.

Your mindset is where I hope to be someday.

Yep, I've heard of Dparties, cakes, presents...people go on cruises, buy fancy cars and new clothes with their "winnings".

It's a good way to think about it.

Thank you all - I was at the beach with my girls when I noticed the SMS. I did cartwheels on the beach as well as cartwheels in my mind.

Holy crap! I didn't realize that you weren't divorced yet!!

We have to wait for a 12m S before being eligible for D. That was up in July. I think he thought I was going to save him the time, energy and $800. FTG.

buy fancy cars and new clothes with their "winnings".

Our financial stuff was sorted a few months ago so my only 'winnings' are my freedom and healing. Still awesome.

Best (hopefully) early Christmas present ever!

Fingers crossed! Although I think it takes a few weeks to get a hearing date. Still, a girl can dream.
