just wondering what FWS would say about the sacrifice of values, integrity and family being acceptable while choosing to live a life that goes against everything you once believed and is the enemy of your family? How is the tradeoff worth all the losses? I write here b/c it seems the ICR forum doesn't get much response. What is the payoff for WS in A at the sacrifice of everything they once lived for?

I'm not a WS and I'm also a long way from d-day so take this for what it's worth. I think that most ws's don't even think of the possible losses when they have A's. And if they do they just hope they'll never get caught. It's a very selfish act and one they think will bring them only pleasure

I'm faced with the fact that my WS probably had an exit affair. Not sure though because she was more than careful not to get caught and never had plans on telling me about it. Even after we have laid everything out on the table and talked about our problems in the marriage, she still wants out.
