I have large calves so boot shopping is always difficult for me. I spent last winter shopping for brown boots and didn't find a pair I liked until February, they were pretty much perfect in every way, sleek, versatile, comfortable, affordable, but living in Phoenix, it seemed silly to buy them so close to end of season. So I just had the sales girl write the info down to think on it, and eventually decided to take my chances and wait until fall to start looking again.

Well it is fall now, and the same boot is in stores again! But now I am trying to be less frivolous with spending, so dilemma.

Do I need these boots?

Um, yes! Those boots are fabulous.

I just embraced the boot trend as well. Bit the bullet and bought some boots and a cute dress and tights to wear to a show I'm attending. Since then, I've bought 2 more dresses, which are currently on their way!

jrc, they are Steven by Steve Madden, Intyce, Cognac. I saw them at the Steve Madden store but it appears Nordstrom and Amazon carry them for less.

Do I want to wait for shipping? You all have convinced me, I want them now

My experience with Amazon is shipping is often quicker than advertised. I vote to save a few $$ ordering through them, then you still have your boots soon with less guilt.

Great boots. Isn't it a sign that they are still available this year?

It's still in the high 80's where I live- I can't wait to break out my boots.
