I thought some of you might like this, especially those of you who need a daily pep talk.

I guess you could call it a hobby, but I collect music. I put it all into playlists according to the mood it invokes, or the artist, or songs on a theme. Themes range from dreaming (I'm writing a story in which dreams are featured) to oh-my-god-it's-laundry-day ("Geek in the Pink" anyone?). In two taps, I have a music set playing for nearly everything I do in life.

I have a playlist with a theme of "get your ass in gear, woman" and I've just renamed it Level Up because of this song. There's nothing to the video, but look at the words in the description as it's playing.

I love this song SO HARD. I play it every morning in the car when I take Tapper to school. It gets me jazzed up, ready to come home and start my day. But it has also given me a boost I needed to start the above-mentioned story, something I've been sitting on for about 15 years.

If you're interested, the next song on the list is "Perpetuum Mobile" because it's a happy little tune and, to me, it represents beginnings.

And here I thought this was a candy crush thread.

I have my music classified by what dance I'd dance to it.

Great song! Thanks for sharing

I see there is also a collaboration with Glen Phillips. I <3 him very much as a solo artist and with his band Toad the Wet Sprocket.

So how many do you have on the Work It, Twerk It list now?
