Last week my 19 month old DD was unwell with a bad tummy bug and now DS who is nearly 4 is full of cold and I've been up with him all night as he's in pain with a sore head and throat.

I'm just so exhausted. It's such hard work being a single parent with two young children. I know this is going to be another tough week and sometimes I wish that I didn't have to work when they are at their dads at the weekend so that I can just spend a whole day in bed and sleep.

And at times like these I really feel so much anger towards ex for abandoning us.

Just needed to get it off my chest really. :(

It would be hard not to be angry with him. I commend all those single moms and dads out there because I know times like these are difficult, a sick child, hectic work schedule, and exhaustion. I hope your week surprises you with some relief.

Thank you Ostrich80.

It really pisses me off as my DS is really unwell and ex doesn't even bother to ask how he is. It's like he doesn't give a shit about them when they are not with him. Grrrr....
