So dd got home this morning from The Gnat's house and I noticed some red splotches on her face. It suddenly dawned on me that the whore had painted Dd's face for the game. My mom and I were joking yesterday about whether or not Hello Kitty paints her face before a game. I guess we have our answer.
I don't mean to make fun of sports fans as I know many people do this, but you would have to know the Gnat to understand how crazy this is. The Gnat is all about shopping, interior decorating, fine dining, being a wine snob, etc. He turned his nose up at anyone who was a super, sports fan. He has zero interest in football.
All I could think of was Puddy from Seinfeld at the hockey game. "I'm doing it for the team, Jerry".

All I can see is Puddy screaming "WE'RE THE DEVILS" in the Priest's face.
There's liking sports, and there's the obsessively crazy line.
I find it hilarious that Gnat is a culture guy and he's stuck with an obsessed sports fan.

Glad to know I'm not the only Seinfeld fan around here!
It is so crazy how they change their personalities to the person they're with. I'm still waiting on the Karma Bus, StillLivin '. I just have to have faith that it will one day hit.

Good old mirroring. Sheesh, they really do have an MO, don't they.
The sad clown HATES leopard print. Always mentioned how tacky it is whenever we saw it. He was kind of irrational about it - he'd virtually tic over it.
OWUmpteen wears leopard print. I had a good, hearty chuckle.

How funny! I didn't know about this mirroring thing.
My ex always hated flip flops. He REFUSED to wear them. He refused to even try them on.
About 6 months after dday I saw him wearing flip flops. I was like WTH???
What is this mirroring all about?

Mirroring is the phenomena that causes so many of us to wonder where the hell the guy we married went.
They mirror likes/dislikes/values in the beginning to hook their victim. It is how so many of them go on to have new relationships so quickly.
The act doesn't last. 2-3 years in my case. I held onto the illusion for many more years beyond his efforts to keep it up.
I may have reached a point where I'd piss on him if he was on fire.... eventually!!

I call my ex Jetsetter Gigolo Asshole.
He now travels extensively, before he was afraid to fly.
He says he's not a player, um how does he even know that word?
He's just an asshole now and unfortunately I can see now that that never changed...he was an asshole when we were together too.
