I found this site the other day while looking for web cams in my state. It's live and reloads about every 30 seconds.
Check it out: www.Pancanal.com
The amount of freight that passes through these locks on huge container ships is amazing. I've seen huge cruise ships go through there too. There are 3 sets of locks and 2 lanes that raise or lower the ships to continue on their journey. Very cool
Enjoy.

If you see your ex with someone else don't be jealous. Our parents taught us to give our old, used toys to the less fortunate.

A friend of mine went on one of those cruises. I watched her go through the canal. I think she was the one waving frantically from the second deck!

The BMW/MINI Cooper fanatics (I'm one) can custom order their cars. Once manufacturing begins, VINs are assigned. Owners learn their VIN, monitor/watch the cars being assembled, and then can track which cargo ship picks up their car at the port in the UK and is transporting it. All of them go through the Canal. You can watch each Lock if you move through the webcams.
I watched my "baby" being transported in 2007.
