Sitting here with my kids, just watching the movie "Hook", and I'm watching Peter Pan make out with a mermaid. Later on, Tinker Bell lays a big smooch on him, goes in for a second one, and it suddenly dawns on him that HE LOVES HIS WIFE. Oh goody goody. Wtf. Are we pre-programming our kids for infidelity? My H told me he kissed another woman, and I went on anti-depressants. I wonder if Moira joined SI after Pete came home and told her all about his journey to self-discovery in Never-Never Land.

Yep, I positively hated that "little" aspect about Hook. Posted something about it too (a couple of years back). WTF Disney? We think infidelity is cool now?

Yep, cheating if I ever heard it. And then Tinker Bell's "goodbye" to him when he awakens near the statue in front of home. Yeah. Sounds like a "gentle, letting you down nicely" kind of goodbye instead of, say, a good strong NC "I love my wife, you tramp fairy, don't even blow your pixie dust near me ever again!"

Well said!
