Cherry pie

Apple pie

Blueberry pie

My oldest DD isn't a pie eater.

My youngest DD can eat an entire pumpkin pie herself, which is fine with me. I'm already burned out on it.

My H doesn't bother with the pastry....he eats mincemeat from the jar by the spoonful!

Our family isn't into pie for dessert at Thanksgiving, so much as cake!

I make carrot cake.

We enjoyed it at our Thanksgiving last month.....and it has been requested by my BIL for Christmas Day!

@ Lyonesse:

The mincemeat my H eats is the fruit one.

It's made with apples, raisins or currants, suet, sugar, and spices like cinnamon, allspice, and nutmeg. Adding brandy or rum gives it a rather tart taste

Mincemeat gets its name from the way the ingredients are finely chopped, or minced.

Ah, that sounds more appetizing. Especially with the brandy or rum.

My GGma used to make huckleberry pies. They were incredible.

Gotta go with Dutch Apple on this one, followed closely by pumpkin.
