I just found out that STBX's attorney recently represented my niece w/custody/CS/visitation issues for her so ... if we end up in court slingn' hash at each other she will DEFINITALY be a potential witness for me as would her boyfriend - won't fill in the details but they have witnessed much shit and he has said crap to them in his drunken stupors as niece's bf's dad is one of STBX's best buddies and drinking partner...
Is this a conflict of interest and should I contact the law firm and let them know??? These are very good attorneys so this would probably be to my benefit...

Yes. Tell your attorney about it.
You don't want to be knee deep in the process and all of the sudden this becomes an issue.
