Hi everyone,

I hope you all are well.

I'm very worried about my youngest son. He was truant from school sixty days last year and it has started again. He has been home the last three weeks.

He is a good student, with no behavioral problems. When he actually goes to school, the teachers think everything is ok because he does what he is supposed to do.

Believe me, I have tried everything.

I have also given it to God and I know that it helps, but I'd like to ask for your prayers.

We have severe cases of bipolar disorder and schizophrenia in my family on my father's side and I worry about my children, as I know it can be genetic.

Thanks in advance.

You have my prayers and good thoughts.

Has he been evaluated?

DS, you are forever in my heart. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spirit with me. I will always try to live by the example you have set. I love you and miss you every day and am sorry you had to go so soon, it just doesn't seem fair.

Thanks, everyone.

Authenticnow, no he has not been evaluated. He doesn't like our doctor. This doctor saved my life, literally, but he is too blunt and honest for my son. DS14 doesn't dare to go to him anymore because it's uncomfortable for him to be confronted. I assume that is why.

In this country, we have to go through a doctor first if we want a psychiatrist subsidized by the state or district. My father has offered to pay though, so I know I could go the other route.

I am exhausted.

I have issues with DS16 as well, but the storm is calm there currently (there have been meetings after meetings throughout the years). He was arrested a couple of months ago for smoking hashish.
