During the ice last week, DS (17) wrecked on the way home from school. DD (12) was in the vehicle. Both kiddos are ok - whew. Vehicle was totaled; it hit so hard it ripped the vehicle from the frame.
DS was driving Ex's vehicle. FIRST thing Ex told both kids was not to tell anyone that DD was in the vehicle. He is to say it was just him (DS) alone.
Can anyone tell me WHY he would tell them that? DS still has his Cinderella license but you are allowed to have blood relatives in with you so legally it is not an issue.
I am guessing it has something to do with his car insurance but I am drawing a blank as to what/why. Any ideas?
(Yeah - we will overlook the whole issue of him instructing both kiddos to lie)
Thanks again ole wise panel!
Edited - And lets not forget what a cluster#### this would be if DD turns up with some medical issue from it.
