Ha! Even Santa knows that won't help me.

thebighurt posted 12/4/2013 12:29 PM

Santa, himself, handed me a business card saying, "Be naughty and save me a trip." So I have a pass for this year.

Actually, "he's" already picked exactly what I want. But don't tell me, it's a secret!

lynnm1947 posted 12/4/2013 13:31 PM

I never even think about it. If I look back at things I may have said throughout the year (if my memory were that good, that is), I'm sure that's exactly what my daughter has got for me! I do recall mentioning that I thought I'd buy a pressure cooker.

A Big Box of Nothing. It's tradition.

Tred posted 12/4/2013 18:22 PM

A worm farm. Seriously.

stronger08 posted 12/4/2013 18:25 PM

I'm with NIK. Nothing, the same thing I got last year. I've must have been a naughty boy cause that fat bastard has not stopped at my house in years.

jo2love posted 12/4/2013 18:33 PM

Nik and Stronger08, You both deserve a present. I'll tell Santa to drop off 10 lbs of chocolate. If it's too much let me know and I'll eat some.

I ask for the same thing every year. DD to sleep late and when she wakes up she makes me tea before we do presents. Thank you, Santa & DD.

I get to have two of my three kids with me! We're going to eat lots of good food and watch lots of movies and just generally enjoy each other's company. I can't wait!!!

Nature_Girl posted 12/5/2013 10:07 AM

I'll be getting nothing. And with finances as they are, so will my kids.

That's awesome. I've been planning on making my own vermicomposter (worm farm) for a while now. Hope you get it!

And even grown up, the little boy within them still lives.

What am I getting for Christmas? I *want* two gallons of paint. What I'll *actually* get? Who knows. My hubby and kiddos think wayyyy outside the box. It's hysterical every year.

You can't make me grow up! And it's for the new greenhouse (aka The Chapel ).

Aubrie posted 12/5/2013 10:56 AM

Whatever you say Peter Pan.

itainteasy posted 12/5/2013 11:12 AM

No idea.

Quite possibly The Walking Dead graphic novels.
Maybe a video game. Some stuff for our apartment and puppy.

tushnurse posted 12/5/2013 17:42 PM

I got a new couch. Desperately needed. But..... I have a sneaking suspicion that he got me something that's a real investment, an outdoor wood burning furnace!!!!!!

No more freezing to death from Novemburr through March!!!!

jrc1963 posted 12/5/2013 18:50 PM

Can I say what I got for Hanukkah?

jo2love posted 12/5/2013 20:21 PM

What did you get, Jrc?

jrc1963 posted 12/5/2013 20:31 PM

I got a new Santoku knife from Wusthof, a pair of boots, some socks, Pyrex glass storage containers, a pair of ceramic mugs and two movies from my DS.

Lola2kids posted 12/6/2013 07:20 AM

Oh, I love the Pyrex glass storage containers!!
I got the assorted set and find that I need more of the larger ones.
I should have asked for those. Dang.

My girls got me a small tin of Quality Street chocolates. (Not sure if you have those in the US or other countries.)
I told them not to spend a lot of money on me.
I found the tin "hidden" in one DD's skate bag.
They are not so great at hiding things from me.
