Hi SIers!
tushnurse's thread got me started- do you have a deal or steal to share with your fellow SIers looking to get every darn penny out of their Holiday Shopping budget? SHARE! PLEASE!
I will start:
Purchase date: 12.04.13
Store: Coldwater Creek (women's clothing)
The Deal: I purchased a Groupon that was made avaialble today for $25.00 (value of Groupon- $50.00), selected several items for my mom with an original price of $140.00- got the Coldwater online special for the day discounting those items down to $54.00- used the $50.00 groupon and paid only $4.00 additional dollars on my CC. Shipping is FREE for purchases greater than $50.
Total Out of Pocket Cost: $29.00
Available on-line or in store?: both! (Groupon must be purchased on line)

It's an app (or I think you can sign up on your computer) and you can select the deals you want from Target. Then when you go they scan your phone and you get the deals. It's anywhere from 5-25% off items. The more you save the more slots you have.

RetailMeNot app. They offer coupons to be scanned at the register and codes to use online. Some stores don't have in store coupons, but the sales people can key in the online code.

Slickdeals.net is a site where anyone can post good deals of the day. There is also a downloadable ap. What's nice is that there is a search feature. You can type in Lego and see all of the Lego deals that have been posted.

Kohls is like this for me always. Got a gorgeous sweater for $1.71-it would have been free but taxes pushed it over. I'm going today and can get $100 worth of stuff free. I love Kohls!!!

Retail me not app is awesome. It allows you to search for coupons for wherever you are shopping, and most common places have them on there.
The day I did all my shopping I found coupons for Kohls (20%) and didn't need my Kohls card, 25% for Penny's and 10% at Sports Authority. Everyone was having really good sales too, so throw those coupons in on top, and it was quite the day of bargains.
My Bill at Kohls said I saved double of what I spent. LOL

another one for the RetailMeNot app - I love it. Oh and Kohl's fo sho! I scored some great deals there and they continue to put out coupons and cut prices. Oh, and sign up for their rewards program. You get 100 points just for completing the registration. 100 points = $5 certificate.
If you're a makeup fan, ULTA is having a huge sale along with a $3.50 off of $10 coupon available online & in store. They are offering free shipping with a $25 minimum (normally $75) but if you use the $3.50 off you can't use free shipping.
