OW has photographed the IDs of two of my friends who she's been targeting as friends to get to me. I'm already scared, now I'm terrified. What kind of crazy are we dealing with here? Any thoughts on what I, fWH and my friends can/should do?

Could you explain this further? When you say she photographed their IDs, do you mean she took pictures of their license, or something? And how do you know she did that? This is what I would want to know before calling the police and an attorney, but if she took pictures of their licenses and you have evidence, I'd definitely call the police.

My friend, who she's been trying to reel in, bought an item off ow. OW was at the school canteen so my friend sent her son over with her wallet to pay OW. When the son came back to my friend, he said "Mum, Mrs OW took a photo of your license."

My friend, having been warned about OWs harassment of me but at that point in time not knowing about the A, obviously thought it was scary weird anyway, but had a heightened awareness of ow because of my experiences of harassment. My friend made a joke to ow saying "I hear your the person to see if you want forged documents." OW brushed it off saying yeah, I've got them so that if you do something I don't like, I can threaten to put it up on FB." My friend laughed it off, but actually takes the threat seriously given what she knows about ow and me.

She's crazy.

I am not sure what the laws are in australia, but here that is a no-no. Tell your friend/s to file charges asap.

Then I'd (not call but) go to the station, with my 2 friends, and file a report.

I don't know the law in Australia - but that has to be illegal without consent and an invasion of privacy at the very least?

You said 'two friends'. What's the story with the other friend? It's important to know the whole background.

All we know about the other friend (she is not a close friend and I have no reason or need to out the A to her) is that when OW admitted to photographing friend 1's license, OW also admitted to having friend 2's as well.

So friend 1 knows about the A, but not friend 2? That would certainly influence how they would see such an act.

That is scary crazy. I would make sure you have a legal paper trail so if she tries to pull anything, and I mean anything, you have on record that this information has been obtained by her without consent! And definitely on what date. Not sure what Australian laws are on this, but I'd definitely involve the police if I were you!

She is definitely someone I would be concerned about. Her behavior is wayyy scary. I'm with the others...even if the police can't do anything I would at least want a report made. Has she done anything to you that was worrisome....I mean besides the A of course. Has she threatened you?

Nest,

Gently, what you've suggested would be liable or slander in some places. Don't forget how that reflects on you and yours.

It is NOT slander..not if you can prove what you have said to be the truth.

If these two women are friends of yours, then I see no problem with telling them the truth, and warning them that she may not be the most stable person..her actions have certainly proven that to be true.

Im glad friend #1 is pressing charges.

Is there any chance this OW is into identity theft?

I suggest all three of you pull a credit report and perhaps even freeze your credit report so this woman cannot damage you financially in addition to any other necessary legal action.
