Every difficulty I face in parenting makes me hate him even more. He barely spends time with the kids let alone my toddler son. He's so full of excuses.
Right now, I'm trying to potty train my toddler son. It's so frustrating for him and me. He keeps sitting on the potty like he sees me do, and I keep making him stand. It's so frustrating and I'm so mad at that POS ex. I never use the word hate. But, I hate him right now for doing this to us. Then he says that he hopes him and his son will have a good relationship when he's grown, when he's not helping right now.
Infidelity destroys.
I hate him. Arrrgh! FTG!

I am sorry you are going through this. I know that hate.
On the potty training though, your DS would be better off sitting at this stage. Most boys start out sitting. He will stand when he is ready.

I agree...my boys started with sitting...you just have to make sure they know to point things in the right direction...

Thank you debbysbaby and ladycody! I think I'll let him sit. I was misinformed thinking boys should learn peeing while standing right away. My thought process was that once he starts doing it sitting, it would be hard to switch him to standing.

You might want to keep him sitting, if you want him growing up to be a well dressed man without urine-speckled' pants

My DDs didn't even begin to learn until they were 3-4ish. To me, it just seemed easier to change diapers (at my convenience, usually) than to clean up messes. Everyone's different, but unless your DS is REALLY ready, it may be easier for you to wait. You have enough on your plate right now and potty training is a lot easier if it's driven by the child. Sure, my boys were older (and went through more diapers), but they were each trained in a couple days with few (if any) accidents.
Hope and hugs sent your way!

Toss some cheerios in the toilet and tell him to take aim. He will think its fun..AND learn to potty standing up.

Both my boys learned to pee sitting down. Once they had things under control they stood up on their own....at least I think my 22 yr old son stands up

My 4 year old still sits to pee (less mess).
Hang on there, they all figure it out eventually!

Thanks mamas! Once I let him sit, he's been doing very well with it. I'll let him master this first then let him stand later. My little boy learns things very fast. He's been ready for a while just didn't know how to do it.
Btw, some of your comments brought a smile to my face. I appreciate that!

I taught both my sons in summer as they weren't wearing much clothes. Told them to pee in the garden. They loved it and got used to peeing standing up.
Is the f*cking you're getting, worth the f*cking you're getting?
