Last night my dd turned her jammies inside out AND wore them backwards then put a spoon under her pillow in hopes of a snow day. She thinks it works. Mother nature is stronger than any superstition.

She got her snow day. The yuck stuff just started.

Time to be my own bff.

My kids were praying for one too, they were 1-2" band here, it evidently got lost. They were soooo sad this morning. LOL...

I have heard the PJ and spoon thing before, but had never had my kids try it. Shhhhh don't tell them please.

Kids here flush ice cubes down the toilet. Strange for sure, but sometimes it works.

Ugh...ice cubes down the toilet. How would I explain the big ice ball in the pipes?
