Finding the right sentiment in a card can be difficult, especially when I was trying to find cards for the SI card exchange. I was looking for a nice balance.
I bought box sets with 4 different cards. The one set said "Whatever means merry to you - wishing you lots of it this Christmas!"
That's very generic. It covers a lot of bases, but I immediately interpreted it to mean .....Whatever crazy shit you're into, have fun with that.
I chose not to send those cards. So now I'm stuck with them. 10 years from now, I'll pull out the boxes of cards and those cards will still be there. Sitting there.
Much like the cards my husband bought years ago that have a picture of Santa with 'crap' on his face and inside it talks about the reindeer needing more fiber. He asked if we could use those for the SI exchange and I said NO.

Do they have a good picture on the front? If so, you can upcycle them into ornaments or something.

OMG, I totally need to clarify - I was referring to the first cards you described. NOT the reindeer/fiber ones.

Good idea NIK.

Not the one with Santa with crap on his face.
