So my ex moved out in July , Divorce was In June. I ( we) had pedal tractors on side of my house as decor in the landscaping . Last week he decided to sell them on eBay my lawn ornaments . Yes he bought them years ago and months after he moves out comes and sells them wtf. And then decide to store a bingo machine and other junk in my basement after moving. I'm so pissed. I have rights to that money he is making off this stuff.

Was he awarded them in the divorce? If not, then that is theft and I would file charges against him for that.

Also, how is he getting into your home? Does he still have a key?

You may want to verify your state laws but I'm pretty sure that's considered abandoned property. Sell it and pocket the cash! You can buy new lawn ornaments with the proceeds!

STBXH was kicked out 2 years ago. He was given a chance to get all his stuff. As of now I am selling his stuff on Craigslist. This includes new leather coats, tools, skis, etc. I almost hope he sees they are for sale.

We have signed the settlement agreement and will be officially divorced soon, so he can't do anything.

Really? You want to get into a battle over money from 2 lawn ornaments? Don't you want to move forward? Getting through a D is the toughest thing you will go through. Pick your battles wisely.

I would have to agree with Pippy. Put that guy in your rearview mirror.

I am about to start the battle and just said to myself that I am not going to fight about the 25 yrs of stuff in that house.

Peace of mind is soooo much better!
