This one isn't high literature or anything...but "Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas" (James Patterson) is an all time favorite of mine. I need to read it with a box of tissues and I have read it over 50 times, easily.

The Journeyer, by Gary Jennings
Horrible first chapter and an ending that just sort of dribbled off, and even a pretty horrifying torture scene I had to skip over entirely...
Sounds awful, doesn't it? It still lives in my mind. It came to life...

I ordered a Fannie Flagg book, A Redbird Christmas, I've heard it's a great book and people seem to like anything by her. ?
I'm asking.
Looked into reading the Monuments Men vs seeing the movie but on this one, I think I'll see the movie.
