Our alarm clock has become very difficult for him to hear. He's slept through his alarm twice in the last month, making him late for work.
Does anyone have a good suggestion for a moderately priced alarm clock for the hearing impaired? I'd like to get something for him that's loud enough for him, but won't wake up my kids in the bedrooms next to us.
I saw a number of clocks on Amazon, but they have mixed reviews. The vibrating ones look interesting, but again...mixed reviews.
Do any of you have any experience that you can share?

Maybe put a timer on a bedside light?

It looks like there is a wristband version as well.
Thanks! I'm willing to try both at this point!
Of course, they run $100-150, so you'd really only want to go that route if you also wanted the fitness features and it were going to be a multi-purpose purchase.

As his bedmate, I have to agree.
We took a look at some of the vibrating alarm clocks and ordered a Sonic Boom from Amazon.
He's also going to hookup the timer on the lights this weekend when he has a moment or two.
Wish us luck!
