Oh, wait; you were serious?

I eat very little meat, but I love my burgers once or twice a month. And several beers or glasses of wine a week. I'm good

idkam...

That's awesome!! I know it takes a lot of will-power to give up things we enjoy.

That is going to be soooooo good for your system!

Whenever I consciously cut that stuff out my body feels so much better.

You can do it!

Good luck!

While I'm personally skeptical of the quick-fix cleanses (the stuff you'd see on a Buzzfeed "10 weird ways to cleanse your system" kind of article, for example), things like your current quest are worth admiration even if only for the self-discipline it takes to commit and complete them.

I could easily give up the wine or beer or alcohol since I don't drink any of it anyway...

But I would die w/out the red meat because there is no chicken allowed in my house...

Thanks for the well wishes my SI friends...Today is my first day..... I do not eat alot of red meats...however, for thanksgiving and christmas holidays i think i ate and indulged in alcohol consumption way too much...

We went to a friends house for NYE and the menu was steak, lobster, veges, and a pasta dish.... I still feel bloated from what i ate...lol!!!!

Giving both of these things up at the same time for me would not be good.

I would probably need to be hospitalized. I loves my Red Meat. Im a midwestern girl from farm country. There is nothing bad about red meat, esp if it is lean, and fresh.

Giving up the booze.....well lets say I probably need to join another forum to deal with that issue. LOL. Seriously Red Wine is good for the heart, and soul, and when mommy drinks it, for the kids.
