This year, we each received two flags (We got China & Australia) and were to make a snowman that represented either or both and include the flag or flags in our display. I consulted SI on this and really considered a Terracotta Warrior snowman, but that was going to be very difficult to execute because everyone in the family had to have a hand in it and with fast drying clay, that was going to be a problem. At the beginning, I had suggested we do a snake snowman because 2013 was the Year of the Snake, we had a snake in our house, and Waywardson's mom (also the contest judge) made a snake snowman years ago. Finally, we came back around to making the snake. The flag had to be included, but I've cropped a lot of it out for this because it also had our last name on it. Anyway, Here's our 'snowman':

Thanks!! Last year I did the Abominable Snowman because the rules were just that we had to make a snowman and include an item sent from MIL. The rules got a little tougher this year. I haven't seen the other entries, yet, but I'll post them when I get them.

It's a lot of fun, but also a little stressful because of FOO issues and the time of year.
