It was my sons 4th birthday yesterday and we had a party at home with some friends for him.

He was SO happy and it has made me feel so grateful too for the wonderful people, little and big, who helped my son enjoy his first birthday without his dad being present.

One of my best friends' husband came and my son absolutely adores him. They have so much fun together and he is such a good role model for my son.

I've even made plans to see some of my sons friends' parents and it has given me a real confidence boost to widen my social circle.

My New Years resolution is to say yes to all invites especially where new folk are concerned. I'm even getting giddy as who knows what gorgeous man may enter my life because of it!

Feeling blessed! :)

AKA Moo

Think of the haters in your life as sandpaper; they’ll scratch you up time and time again but in the end you’re polished, smooth, and spotless..while they end up useless
