When a thread hits 999 posts it's "killed" and you can't post on it anymore.
"Thread killa" is a very Seinfeldian way of seeing who can get the kill.

Well... We're on our 6th thread killa thread... They've been going for about two years now.
I started the first one after feeling frustrated that I had "killed a lot of threads" one day.
To actually "Kill" a thread means to be the last to post on a thread that eventually drops off the forum and goes into the archives.
A TRUE kill is when it doesn't reach 999 posts... and it just dies.
Does that make sense??

we sort of compete to see who can be the last one to speak. Then someone breaks the "i killed the thread!!" contest by posting in it.
I'm not sure I'm helping.

I'm glad to read this definition. I try to avoid the thread (and actually have even completely avoided this forum just to avoid the thread title), because the title dialect is triggery for me. Maybe it will help in some way to know what it is actually about.
