every time I click on anything on any page, it opens in a new window with what I clicked on. didn't realize this until I had over 20 windows open!

I've checked all the settings I can figure out. restarted. unplugged and plugged back in. ran a virus skan...

what gives?

Could your shift, control or alt keys be stuck down?

Many browsers use Shift-click, control-click or some combination like that to open a link in a new window.
