Joys of being a teacher in the polar vortex!
Getting ahead on coursework for my masters.
Taking Teslet out on a dinner date tonight and probably to the book shop tomorrow. Other than that, just enjoying the down time.

I know! This was my first 5 day week in a while. It was tough to work all day with no naps.
Tonight, I'm going home to take it easy.
Tomorrow, possibly going to look at a new (for me) car.
Sunday, haircut.
Pretty low key weekend. There will be multiple dog walks mixed in throughout the time off. The puppies are going stir crazy since I've been working so much.

Taking IrishLad to his Dad's. Housecleaning again although you would think that with 4 adults sharing 1 home and me being the only full time worker I wouldn't have housework, not in my world. Birthday party for my friends 3 year old tomorrow, maybe I can go shopping and get shoes without holes in the soles to wear to work. Then pick up IrishLad on Sunday.

I'm heading toward the beach for some girl bonding time with a friend of mine tonight... funny thing is she was my divorce lawyer and freed me from ex-asshat. (She doesn't practice anymore).
We bonded over ex-asshat's smarminess when he tried to hit on her in court to get her to be nice to him. True story.

I've procrastinated for as long as I can, but it is time to take the Christmas decorations down.
Class Saturday, Sunday is study and homework. Some light cleaning and making some turkey chili with cornbread to stave off the cold for the week. Besides chili mac makes great leftovers and I'm not cooking during the weekdays anymore until Spring Break!

Well... my "date" for the movies tonight bailed on me, the transmission went out on my van, and DD lost her off-campus privileges for the weekend. I guess I'm staying home and catching up on laundry.
Yay.

(((NIK))) well that's pretty sucky.
I've switched my work sked for this semester, now working Monday to Thursday to accommodate a night class.
Thursdays are going to be brutal but I can survive if I have Friday sleep-ins...
Have not moved from the couch today.
Must go for a walk and forage at the wine store.
Tomorrow and Sunday MUST look at the next module for my web course.

My suitcase finally arrived from my trip to Italy (minus my digital camera but with everything I was upset about losing) so I have a ton of laundry to do. I'm going to do some house hunting with a friend of mine (A roommate! It'll be just like college!) and spend some time over at my Dad's. I'm also going to watch my favorite college basketball team dismantle USC.
Should be a great weekend!

I have a low key weekend, so not much new.
Tonight the couch and takeout. My big plans tomorrow are to exchange two tops I bought before Christmas. What do I wish I was doing? Going into the city to watch a fabulous local band do an acoustic show and an equally fabulous dinner. Instead, my wallet is recovering from taking my dog to a followup visit to the vet. Plus, just got the first bill for my minor surgery in Dec.
Sunday will be house & school work.
Staying home to save money is boring.

Pretty low-key here as well.
Went grocery shopping on my way home from work tonight, and I'm just hanging out at home -- I'll probably read and paint a bit. I also need to do some laundry, but that might not happen tonight.
Saturday I'm running with a friend, cleaning my house and running some errands, then a haircut, then having a couple of friends over for dinner and board games.
Sunday I'm running with different friends, then going to a NCAA basketball game with my parents. Probably relaxing in the evening after the game.
And then, Monday morning will be here all too soon!

Diagnosed with flu today after being sick all week while working double because my boss was on vacation in Mexico.
So, loaded up on all kind of scary looking medication, all cuddled up on the couch, with lots of water and OJ which is about all I am craving anyhow. DD16 is working on chicken soup.
This will be a very low key weekend, I need to get this thing over with by Monday, heavy workload ahead.

Eldest had his buddy over to play and then for pizza this evening. After he left, we all cozied up and watched a movie. The kiddos are in bed, and I will fold approximately ten tons of laundry now.
Tomorrow, DD and I are going to bake her favorite muffins, and then friends are coming over for lunch. After lunch, we'll go visit my parents for the rest of the day.
Sunday is grocery shopping, grading, taking care of any other miscellaneous chores, etc.
Happy weekend, folks. Hope you're finally enjoying a warmup if you were in the deep freeze like we were. It's going to feel like spring here tomorrow!

Got my hair cut and went grocery shopping tonight after work. Then I vegged on the couch playing solitaire and eating pizza for dinner. Tomorrow I'm heading to my mom's, where my sister and I will be spending the day packing, because we're moving mom yet again at the end of the month. Sunday may end up being a repeat of Saturday, depending on how much we get done tomorrow. Somewhere in there, I need to clean my house and do some laundry, too.

The Gnat had the kids Tuesday evening until this morning. That is not our usual custody schedule at all, but he has to travel a lot this month, so he can only do a few weekdays. I was weird not having them during the week and I missed them. Tonight I took them to dinner at a local Mexican place, watched a show with DD and then put them to bed.
Tomorrow, we plan to go for a bike ride now that DD is free of her training wheels! I need to return some things at Target and get a birthday gift.
Sunday is a birthday party for the son of a good friend.
