I am going to try this forum out for size.

I don't know if I am really into the dating world yet...

Someone actually gave me their number the other day... and then my toddler literally ate it. So I guess she didn't like him.

I did quit smoking... again.

I started when I was a teen and I quit for 3 years when I got pregnant and had my baby. After DDay, I started again for 2 months. The polar vortex and smoking outside only was enough to get me back quitted and I am 5 days strong!

That's a new beginning, right?

Of course that's a new beginning. That's a big one so good for you!!!!

We celebrate those, as well as the small ones. Dating only comes into play when you're ready. Until then, tell us all about new beginnings that relate to almost anything else under the sun - a new job, a new place to live, a new houseplant, painting a room, changing a tire, reading a new book, taking an exercise class, trying out a new recipe, etc., etc., etc.

This forum is about so much more than dating, and those of us who have been around awhile discourage people from dating too soon.

I'll see if I can find and bump the non-dating NB thread!
