One of those days. He is a perfected micromanager who despises to be wrong. Despises to be corrected, even in a good way. He looks and acts like an idiot. He is a compulsive liar. He lies to justify himself being right, makes up his own rules, so that he can be right. I have seen him bust out crying over silly stuff that no real man would ever, ever 'cry' over. He has actually faked injury's and illnesses for attention. He is physically repulsive. He thinks he is hilariously funny (which he is SO not!!) He has a comeback for EVERYTHING. He will actually stand outside my office after I have told him something....thinking of something funny to say back to me...it's never funny...it's always something stupid. (Me: Mr. Jones needs you to call him. Him: What does he want me to call him?) stupid heehaw jokes that are not funny to anyone but himself. I have been here for years. Somedays I can take it and let it roll off...and then there are days like today. He wears ridiculously looking hats and clothes-makes more money than anyone here-so he can afford better-he actually spends alot of money to look ridiculous-I think it is for attention. He dresses as a full on cowboy one day and sherlock holmes the next. Blech!!!!!!!
No one here likes him, we all just tolerate him, which I don't do very well!! Thank you for the status therapy!!!

He sounds like a few of my Middle School Students...
I was so hoping that they grew out of this stage... Maybe they don't?
I would not look forward to being these kids employees in a few years...

He's actually married....to a woman who has had several nervous breakdowns. You know how you meet someone and you just KNOW there is something wrong, like really wrong with them? I have always said (about him) "WHATEVER...it is...I won't be surprised" He is truly twisted. He goes to the bathroom (and stays) like 6 times a day. He has told me several times about his stomach trouble, in detail. Told me once that he had to go home because he didn't make it to the bathroom in time. Okay....you are our boss. ALL you had to say was...I have to run an errand....I have a meeting...I have a dr appt....I need to see about something.....I have to take my car to the shop....the list is endless. You do not need to tell us you shat in your pants. Seriously. He's an idiot. Thinking of him in anyway in the bedroom, makes me want me to poke my eyes out with my car keys!!!!

Sounds slightly narcissistic to me... Someone who's so self absorbed that he can't fathom why every single person on the planet isn't completely enthralled with every thing about him...
With serious boundary issues and no filter on his brain/mouth.
Sound about right?

Sounds like the Ricky Gervais character in the UK version of The Office.
You have my sympathies.

Exactly. Spot on. He absolutely thinks we should be amazed at his stories! He lies so much, about everything. He's late to work 3/5 days a week and there is always, always some strange, alien abduction-dog ate my homework-hero saved a child from a car wreck-story to go with why he is late. It is ridiculous.

this guy sounds just like Michael scott from the office. (or ricky gervais like PP said!!)
It sounds like he likes you, considers you a friend (I would only tell a friend if I shat in my pants!) can you use that to your advantage at all
Im so sorry, he sounds hideous. I have had real tough, mean bosses, but they have all be extremely smart and competent. Ive never had a fool like that!
