His Disney Club Penguin, Loveyguy, to be exact. Sigh.

Long story short, but I got a notice today that the stupid autorenewal for his account failed because my credit card had expired (I set this up for autorenewal??? And it costs HOW much each year??? Sigh again.).

After going around and around to remember MY login info to update the account, and discovering that I can cash in old airline miles that never get used to pay for a membership (SCORE!), I can't remember son's penguin's password. Thought I did... tried the common passwords used for everything else... but it was wrong, and the account locked up. And now, loveyguy and his treehouse igloo and his pufflepets and science lab and popcorn machine and disco ball and skateboard and helicopter and whatever other trinkets have been collected in the past year... are gone.

Anyone know of a real live contact person for Club Penguin rather than the unhelpful help section of their webpage? Even when I ask the site to send me a link in email to reset the PENGUIN password, they keep sending me a link to reset the PARENT PORTAL password.

I know this really should not be a big deal, but DS is going to melt down over the loss of loveyguy the penguin.

Yes TR... intriguing title to get someone to help me with my otherwise ridiculous problem!

I'm really, really bored at work today.

((((loveyguy)))) Sorry, hon. I don't have any experience with Club Penguin. Hope you find some pertinent help quickly.

Unless I'm missing something and you tried this already, try this link:

https://secured.clubpenguin.com/penguin/forgot-password

That seems to be the area to reset the penguin password. Looks like it goes through the parent e-mail to do the reset. I'm guessing a link to do the reset comes to the parent e-mail address?

I would try the password reset.

This happened with my DD's penguin about a week ago. I was able to log in, update the payment method, it asked for which penguin, and then I hit the enter/submit button. She didn't lose her stuff or her penguin. They were all there. Fingers crossed for you.

Anyone remember those tamagochi (sp?) virtual pet things? They were banned from school back in the day, so since I run a day care I was in charge of keeping the damn things alive everyday.

The annoying beeping things had to be fed, played with, put to bed, cleaned up after more than a real pet/kid!

Sadly I killed my share I feel your pain SW, I know exactly how your DS is going to react!
