I am starting part time work at a local vape (e-cigarette) shop in a local mall.

I know it sounds stupid to be scared, but I haven't been the "new girl" in a long long time. And I am praying I know enough about vaping to help people and not to make myself sound like a moron.

I have a regular job, this is just for every other weekend when I don't have my kids. Maybe an evening here and there. It's not like I will depend on it for the money- I'm not even doing it for the money, really... I'm doing it because I believe in vaping as a way to help people quit smoking.

But I'm still so NERVOUS.

((eranda)) It's not stupid to be scared or nervous. It's tough to walk in on the 1st day as the new person at a job. Trust me, I know. I've done it 3 times in the past 4 years.

It will be okay. You will be okay. Just remember, they wouldn't have hired you if they didn't think you'd do a good job. And, it's just an extra, weekend job. If you can do your regular, full-time job, you can handle this.

You can do it! I know many people who have converted to vaping and feel very satisfied with it and healthier.

Ok so the day went... FINE I don't think I said anything too stupid and I'm pretty sure I didn't make a complete ass of myself. yay :)

Retail is a little different than it used to be, but it won't be hard to learn. I rang up a few sales and talked to a lot of customers and didn't feel horribly out of place, so that's good.

I might actually be able to to do this YAY!
