Thought it might be an idea to state some personal goals for the year. What do you want to achieve?

For me (in no particular order):
- learn to scuba dive
-hike mount Agung (Bali)
-hike mount Bogong (Victoria, Australia)
- hike Kilimanjaro (Tanzania, Africa)
- try absailing
- keep working on current friendships and be open to new ones.
- try botox
- get a facial
- continue my study toward completing my degree
- try personal fitness training
- get back to and stay size 10 Aus
- kick arse at my job
- try speed dating
- resume horse riding (get my horse back in work)
- keep on top of my border collie's coat.
- visit NY for long over due shopping trip
- continue working on me to grow and become a healthier person
- save for a month trip to Mexico 2015
- eliminate my debts (almost there ! )

Gosh, there are a lot of things to do! Lucky I am single now and can focus on me

What have you planned or dreamed for 2014?

I'm a huge goal-oriented person. My main goals for 2014:

-Keep working toward being debt free
-Lose XX pounds
-Continue eating clean/healthy (less sugar, no processed foods)
-Pick up guitar lessons again
-Learn a new craft (wire wrapped jewelry)
-Finish 2-3 photo quilts (for mom and grandmoms)
-"Let go" more (ie be more spontaneous)

I am super goal-oriented as well!

1. Read at least 52 books
2. Run at least 4 marathons and 4 ultra-marathons
3. Run marathons in at least two new states (I am going to hit all 50 before I die!)
4. Make good progress on drinking a craft beer from every state
5. Go to at least 14 concerts (it's 2014 after all!)
6. See at least 28 movies in the theater
7. Make at least 4 knitted items to give as gifts
8. Buy a digital piano
9. Get new windows in my house (or, more likely, have my current ones rehabbed)
10. Replace my living room ceiling fan
11. Move the parrots upstairs to the room where I spend most of my home time
12. Get season basketball tickets with my dad again for 2014-2015 season
13. Trip to New York with my mom so she can meet my French host parents from when I was an exchange student 20 years ago (and then France with her in 2015!)
14. Average yoga at least 3 times per week
15. Paint something to give to my sister who has been asking for a phmh original, but they've all been too bad to give to anyone but me!!!

Most of my goals are long-term, like buy a house & property, and I also need to get a handle on my procrastination

Really, my only goal for this year (which seems like a long-shot at this point) is get to Hawaii for my 60th birthday

I'm continuing my efforts to reduce my debts.

I'm also increasing my weight loss efforts.

Continuing the work in process that is me!

Oh yeah a BIG one- pay off 7 of my credit cards by Dave Ramsey snow ball. I have paid off 2 already and my income tax refund/new job will help me pay off the rest. I want my credit card balance ratio low so I can start closing the cards and increase my credit score.

There are three big things I've decided that I'm doing this year:

1. Go skydiving
2. Learn how to sail a sailboat.
3. Write a book.

All of these I'm planning on doing while Teslet is spending his summer visitation with ex-shat.
