I was happy yesterday. My H was invited to Mr. Pothead's super bowl party and he declined. He would often go there with another friend and head to this guys man-cave. There is always booze, pot and college students coming and going. It's gross. This guy is married. She buries it. Nice life. I recently told him that from here on out, I want to know every time he goes there. Every time he smokes pot. I want to know what I am dealing with at all times now.
Anyway. I said, "I am glad you are staying home to watch the game." He said, "I'm glad too. I want to be here."
My son made signs and taped them around the house - Supper Bowl parttty - it was cute! And so was Bruno Mars.
(is that crossing boundaries?)

Good for him. And for you, for laying out that boundary.
And look, there are some things that have to be grandfathered in - and one of those is my long lasting internal love affair with Anthony Kiedis. The spouse gets Halle Berry. It's all good.

Love that term "grandfathered in" Rebreather. Yes. I thought you might like to see that post. In the past I have been ditched for Mr Pothead and looking back I can't even believe I turned my head on it. One of his good friends went so I know he likely would have gone too had it not been for D-Day.
Incidentally, am a bit of a groupie too. And while Bruno is adorable Springsteen does it for me. Those legs in his jeans. His energy. That raspy voice. H did have Keira Sedgewick as his "Closer" but he basically blew that now didn't he?

Sorry LA. I trump you in age a bit, and Bruce, is mine
I was away for the weekend, but so happy to hear he wanted to skip his friend's super-bowl party.
Party at home, that's the place to be. Making memories with you and the kids.
(((hugs))) I know it meant a lot to you.

Nooooo karma! I cannot give the Boss up even for you!!!
Also, he thanked me profusely for the SB party effort. All I did was put some wings in the oven while producing a few bowls of chips but...he was grateful. He asked a couple neighbourhood guys over who are fun and respectful towards me.
I have more good news too but it needs a separate post. Hint: Emerald Isle!
