I had to start a thread because I actually have something to do--at least for tomorrow

I'm going to try snowshoeing; it's a meetup at a local state park. I hope it works out (I'm very uncoordinated ) because I've signed up to go birding by snowshoe next Wednesday

I had a ton of plans, but my kids decided to make a really irresponsible choice, so now they are grounded…and I'm stuck in the house too.

Which, is why I have a ton of time on SI this morning.

Having a great weekend! DS and I prepared a wonderful "Thanksgiving" dinner to share with lovely company today. Also had a chance to have a nice talk with him.

Tomorrow I hope to meet up with a fellow SI member. Another new friend!!

Perfect weekend!

Sad -- how was the birding? Did you see anything fun?

Friday night I got to see one of my favorite artists in concert. I was about 20 feet away from him -- he has such an amazing voice, and I went with three of my good friends. Dinner before -- fabulous night.

This morning I had to get up really early and head to the trails for a training run. Just work up from a short restorative nap, and about to get ready and head out for a friend's birthday.

Sunday morning will be running, and then I have the rest of the day to myself with no plans! So it will involve cleaning my house, yoga, and reading.

All this reading about running and snowshoeing is making me tired.

We are supposed to have flurries tonight. I got a car today and went and stocked up on fire logs. And wine.

Can you see where this is going?

I did get a good brisk walk in after dropping off the car.

No plans other than finishing the last HTML assignment and playing the new guitar. I tried following along with one of The Boyfriend's (*) videos and realized that a) he plays way more than I do and b) he has massively big hands, so those insanely wide chord stretches are a piece of cake for him LOL.

Tonight I'm having wine because I was under the weather yesterday (the "F" day) and so this is *technically* my Friday night.

I fired up the food tracking software and it says I can squeeze that in if I skip the noodles in tonight's dinner and have a massive salad instead.

Yay?

So fire, wine and Netflix for me tonight.

An indoor carnival at the fairgrounds. The Lego Movie, which DD did not really like. Church on Sunday. Lots of cleaning and laundry afterwards.

I went to an all-women murder mystery party where all the characters were super-heroes (made up superheroes). It was a blast! Today is work on taxes day and cooking ahead for the week.

Sad - how did you like snowshoeing? I love it. Unfortunately, we've had so much cold weather, it's been hard to get out and enjoy all the snow.
