I never know what would be a romantic gift that my hunny would like. I'm pretty awful at buying presents actually.

Just curious, besides the obvious Steak & xxx present, what else have you menz found to be a great Valentine's day gift?

Depends on what he likes:

1. Tickets to a game (football, baseball, etc)

2. Blu-Ray - electronics

3. Something fun- breakfast in bed with a new robe and slippers

4. An activity you normally don't like to do with him

like bowling

5. New wallet

6. Cologne

7. A massage - he may dislike going but he will like it.

8. A gift card to his favorite place to stop for coffee etc - a mini me kit - with a book he has been talking about or a movie.

9. Clothes

10. A night out with his friends

11. Chocolate

Have a happy Valentine's Day!

Sounds a lot like a library card.

I think your hunny would like

- a classic Ford model T

- pink bunny slippers

- a supercomputer so that he can boast to MH

- Nerf gun arsenal

- california crack cookies

I was going to say to just get him a classic car and he will be very happy!

LD and I don't exchange gifts, just cards. Our anniversary is the next day, we don't do gifts for that either. We usually say our almost annual trip to Jamaica is our gift to each other.

Actually, yesterday when I told him I was going to buy cards he told me to pick one up for myself while I was there. I told him I'd just read one and not even buy it. He's such a romantic .

DS, you are forever in my heart. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spirit with me. I will always try to live by the example you have set. I love you and miss you every day and am sorry you had to go so soon, it just doesn't seem fair.

We don't exchange gifts for VD or anniv either. We go out to a nice dinner together and exchange cards - or rather I give him a card, he usually leaves me a note by the coffee pot.

Last year I was feeling romantic and left heart notes around the house stating things I love about him. A few years ago I saw a pair of Angry Birds pj pants that said "Lets be Love Birds" (H has a strange obsession with Angry Birds).

Heck we don't even exchange Christmas gifts any more. I like the no pressure kind of living.

Love isn't what you say, it's what you do.

Anything with John Deere on it. Preferable greater than 22 HP. Or a nice bottle of real good hot sauce.
