Shopping challenge!!!

While perusing the bitch boots thread I was like, "oh! I like those! And those! And...why yhe hell don't I have a pair of boots like that?"

So, I'm on a mission to find the perfect pair of bitch boots for me. But...I am retail challenged and my fashion sense is, I don't know a thing about fashion. So, I thought I'd turn to the knowledgable folks here at SI to help.

Now, onto the challenging bits...

-looking for something fun and sexy

-can be worn when I'm feeling classy as well as when I want to punk out

-I want heels, but not too high (cause I don't own any and don't want to hurt myself (or someone else) trying to learn to walk in them)

-preferably mid calf

-preferably black

-under $50

And probably the biggest challenge:

-I wear a child's size 4. That's right, I have itty bitty feet. (The rest of me is pretty itty bitty too)

So, anyone up for the challenge?

Do they make child sized bitch boots? I'd almost be afraid to meet the little girl wearing them

My daughter is almost your shoe size. She's 7!

Here's the thing Redbreather.. I don't usually shop. Last time I got anything for me, it was a quick run into Old Navy for two pair of $10 jeans (again, kid sized). That was about 2 years ago. I have stuff I've had forever and hand me downs from my daughter and some of her friends.

That's part of why I am so set on getting me some boots.

I can up the price limit, but money is pretty tight so the less I have to spend the better.

But I WILL get me some bitch boots! Feeling bitchin and, damnit! I deserve them!

I have the perfect pair for you, but they're probably too big. The do have very pointy toes, though, so they might work...

These are mine at the end of the month of I reach my 5 lb lost mark!

Girlfriend, the size is the problem! I remembered a great site called Urbanog that has some great options at great prices, but not in your size!

I love the purple ones...but...they're purple!

For everyone whose name is not Aubrie: I was telling her yesterday that the color purple seems to be drawn to me.

Which reminds me...last shopping experience was Sears abouta year ago...I got a soft fluffy bathrobe. It is purple.

I currently own 3 pairs of shoes. Sneakers, size 3.5; black ballet flats, size 3.5 and purple crocs (that are currently lost somewhere in this house, I think). I also have a very worn out pair of riding boots (so NOT bitch boots), size 4 that I wear out in the mud and stuff. I was thinking 4 might be easier to find than 3.5

I have no idea how kids sizes compare to women sizes.

Yeah...I am so shamelessly pathetic sometimes.

I really would like to find something with a bit of a heel. I'm really short in addition to being itty bitty.

But...damn, I like the style of the purple ones. But they're purple.

If I end up getting purple boots I will just HAVE TO get purple streaks in my hair...

A child's 3.5 or size 4 converts to a ladies size 5 or 5.5.

Description:

From Arturo Chiang, the Talulah women’s wedge boot features:

tender calf leather upper

buckle strap detail

inner side zipper for ease of fit and comfort

outsole with Arturo Chiang logo imprint

approx. 16.14” shaft height; 14.17” shaft circumference

1.25” stacked wedge

Imported

These are super cute. $139.99 on sale for $48.99

at Dillard's (dillards.com) This is a nice boot and they are REAL leather.

Oh thank you sadtoo!

We can look at grown-up boots! That should make things easier!

I never knew that (obviously). So, yay! I'm a grown-up now!

Sadtoo, thank you! That is what I thought and I double checked and it says to add 2 sizes - so a 4 would be a 6.

Have you never tried on women's shoes, Findmyself?

I'm assuming since you prefer the 3.5, you'd be a 5.5. Tough, but much easier!!!
