Ego boost! but,

A good man asked me out to dinner, real nice guy. It was an awesome ego boost, but you know what is coming next: not attracted to him. I had to tell him no, and felt a little bad. Mixed bag type of feelings.

Rejecton sucks, especially when it's a nice person. Now mean people, who cares!

Plus I am not ready to date at the moment, maybe never again.

It really is the kindest thing you have done. To string him along out of obligation would be cruel.
