Okay....so I have been a busy bee the past couple of weeks painting, packing, and moving things. Today we finally got Piper's playroom done. It doesn't have all of her toys in it yet and there are a few finishing touches left to do, but I'm really happy with how it turned out! My dad painted the ceiling sky blue and I painted clouds on it! They look way better in person but since I'm no artist...I was very pleased with my newbie result! I'm starting to get excited as opposed to sad about the move!

It's amazing what a coat of paint....and a little love will do for ya! I've never painted clouds a day in my life....watched a youtube tutorial and VOILA.... they turned out better than I could have ever hoped! I know she will love it! I just don't know how I will ever top this whenever we do move out! : laugh:

Overstock.com!!! I scowered the internet looking for a large rug that was a reasonable price and then I found that one! Its a little quirky and colorful but it had awesome reviews....so I thought that it would be perfect for a playroom! I love it too and think it would be great for another room one day when I finally buy us a house! I got my gift of deals from my mom!! For sure!

Shelly,

When you move out you'll have all sorts of new and different ideas for your new space. By then you'll be ready for a change, and Piper will be into different things! Enjoy spending time playing in the playroom.

More pics!!! Here is her bedroom's progress! We went with a "Little Mermaid Theme" (I'm living vicariously through my daughter since I love the little mermaid because I'm a natural redhead and she is/was one of the few redheaded princesses!)

And, yes....I do realize when my daughter ends up a spoiled brat that I have noone but myself to blame!!!!
